All India IPSC Tennis Tournament begins at Daly College

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Talented tennis players from across the country have gathered to show their skills in the prestigious All India IPSC Tennis Tournament. In the tournament that star at Daly College, players will challenge each other in the team and individual categories in the girls’ under-17 age group. The final of the competition will be played on October 12. Players from many states including Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab are participating in this tournament.

On the first day of the competition on Wednesday, the RKKGPS team defeated the Emerald Heights School team of Indore by 2-0. The Mayo College team of Ajmer also won in a one-sided manner and defeated the Modern School team of Delhi by a margin of 2-0. The third match of the day also proved to be one-sided in terms of the result. Here, the team of RKC School of Raipur competed against the team of MNSS Rai, which the Raipur team won by 2-0.

Earlier, the competition was inaugurated under the hospitality of Principal Dr. Gunmeet Bindra. During this, Vice Principal Tushar Bhatwaj, Indian Junior Davis Cup Team coach Sajid Lodhi along with senior teachers and players were present. On the basis of performance in this tournament, the IPSC Tennis team will be selected for the SGFI tournament.
