Dipa Karmakar retires, said- took this decision after lot of thinking

New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy) : Female gymnast Dipa Karmakar announced her retirement on Monday. She said that I have taken this decision after a lot of thinking.
She thanked the Tripura government, Gymnastics Federation and Sports Authority of India for their support.
Dipa Karmakar said, “Even though I am retiring, my connection with gymnastics will never break. I want to give something back to this sport.”
Dipa Karmakar said, “My last victory, Asian Gymnastics Championship Tashkent, was a turning point because then I felt that I could push my body more, but sometimes our body tells us that now is the time to rest, but the heart still does not agree.”
