Chhattisgarh has got a new identity in the field of sports by organizing games like golf along with traditional sports. This was said by Finance and Housing Minister OP Choudhary in the prize distribution program of the golf sports competition organized by the National Golf Federation of India. He said that the people of Chhattisgarh are showing their talent in every field. They are being constantly encouraged by the government to hone their talent.
Choudhary said that there are immense possibilities of development in Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is a developed state in the fields of minerals, forest, industry etc. Nava Raipur is being developed as a pollution free city. There is ample availability of water in Nava Raipur. Effective steps are being taken towards making the environment healthy by running a People for Pupil campaign here. This event will prove to be a milestone in increasing the possibilities of golf in Chhattisgarh. An area of 200 acres is reserved for golf in Nava Raipur. On this occasion, Chief Minister’s Secretary Rahul Bhagat, NRDA CEO Saurabh Kumar and retired army officers were present.
