PIMR celebrates Gita Jayanti: Students asked to `Grow with Gita’

Indore (Team Newsbuddy) : In a vibrant celebration of India’s spiritual heritage, the Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), PG Campus, commemorated Gita Jayanti with an inspiring program that highlighted the eternal relevance of the Bhagavad Gita in today’s fast-paced world. Organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Good Governance Cell, the event brought together eminent speakers to explore how Gita’s teachings can empower individuals to lead purposeful and impactful lives. Dr. Vikrant Singh Tomar, International Coordinator for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam among G-20 Nations, delivered a compelling keynote address, emphasizing the principles of perfection and time management as outlined in the Bhagavad Gita. He provided actionable insights to inspire students to “GROW with Gita.” Jayant Bhise, Director of the Ustad Allauddin Khan Academy, Ministry of Culture, MP Government, offered thought-provoking perspectives on the Bhagavad Gita’s relevance in contemporary life. Dr. Davish Jain, Chairman of the Prestige Education Foundation and Chancellor of Prestige University, shared his reflections on Gita Jayanti’s significance and the Bhagavad Gita’s enduring wisdom. The event also marked the official launch of the logo for the Centre for Indian Knowledge System by its coordinator, Jaya Jaisinghani, symbolizing the institute’s commitment to promoting India’s cultural and intellectual heritage. Padma Shri Sushil Doshi, a renowned sports commentator, captivated the audience with inspiring anecdotes about Indian cricketers while commending PIMR for honoring India’s spiritual and cultural legacy. Earlier, Dr. S. S. Bhakar, Group Director of PIMR, welcomed the guests and elaborated on the vision behind organizing Gita Jayanti in an academic setting. Dr. Prayatna Jain, Coordinator of Manthan, unveiled the theme and poster for next year’s upcoming ‘Manthan’ festival. The event also included the inauguration of the newly constructed Chhavi Jain Memorial Auditorium and Library at the PIMR PG Campus by distinguished guests. The program concluded with the presentation of mementos to the dignitaries, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Deepak Jaroliya, Director of IQAC.
