The seminar featured insightful sessions by two distinguished law enforcement experts: Abhinay Vishvakarma, DCP Zone II, Indore, and Chandrakant Patel, Station in charge, Vijay Nagar Police Station. Their combined expertise provided a comprehensive understanding of cybercrime trends, preventive measures, and the importance of digital hygiene.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Manojkumar Deshpande, Senior Director of PIEMR, who underscored the growing need for cyber crime awareness in an increasingly digitized society. “Education is not just about innovation but also about safeguarding ourselves from emerging threats,” he emphasized.
Abhinay Vishvakarma, the keynote speaker, captivated the audience with his insights on digital hygiene, cyber crime prevention, and the concept of “Digital arrest.” Using a real-life case study, he demonstrated how law enforcement recently tracked and apprehended cyber criminals behind a massive online fraud targeting vulnerable individuals.
