Indore (Team Newsbuddy): Indore Pink Panthers (formerly Malwa Panthers) franchise is taking an initiative to provide a platform to talented cricketers of Indore division. Under this initiative, a three-day tournament was organized in Indore on 13, 14 and 15 December among the selected players, in which not only Indore but also big names from the cricket world of the state participated and awarded the winning teams.
With the aim of promoting talent under the Player Development Program by Madhya Pradesh League, recently Indore Pink Panthers (formerly Malwa Panthers) franchise had conducted the selection process for players, in which players aged between 19 and 22 years participated, who were not registered in any divisional team or any institution of the state organization. The 60 selected players were divided into four teams and matches were held.
On this occasion, GDCA Vice President and MPL Chairman Mahaaryaman Scindia, cricket commentator Sushil Doshi, Moira Group Founder and Chairman Vimal Todi, Moira Group Vice Chairman Mr. Pawan Singhania, Moira Group MD Avinash Todi, Moira Group Director Sandeep Jain, MPL Governing Council Member Mr. Prasun Kanmadikar, MPL CEO Ravi Patankar and cricketer Amitabh Vijayvargiya were present to encourage and reward the players.
On this special occasion, the honourable guests unveiled the name of the team of Moira Group as Indore Pink Panthers (formerly Malwa Panthers) instead of Malwa Panthers and also unveiled its new logo.
Indore Pink Panther (formerly Malwa Panthers) Director of Cricket Mr. Sandeep Jain said on this occasion that four teams performed exceptionally well on the field. Two best performing players will be selected for the Pink Panther (formerly Malwa Panthers) team. They will show their abilities to the world while playing in the Madhya Pradesh League. The entire cost of their development will be borne by Moira Group’s franchise team Indore Pink Panther. Former cricketer Anil Joshi, Pink Panther franchise’s Director of Cricket Sandeep Jain, coach Abhishek Pathrod, team’s Gaurav Sanghvi and Shubham Jain were also involved in the selection process.
Moira Pink Panther (formerly Malwa Panthers) team coach Mr. Abhishek Pathrod said that if the
performance of the selected players is of high standard, then arrangements for them to play in MPL and other leagues will also be made by Moira Group.
