Municipal Commissioner no to encroachment at Meghdoot Chowpatty

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): A large number of shopkeepers of Meghdoot Chowpatty reached Smart City Office to meet Collector Ashish Singh and Municipal Commissioner Shivam Verma. The shopkeepers said that they should not be rendered unemployed and should be given space to set up their shops. The Municipal Commissioner said bluntly that shops will not be allowed to be set up in front of Meghdoot at any cost. If anyone encroaches, he will be removed forcefully. The Municipal Commissioner assured the shopkeepers that legitimate shopkeepers will be given space to set up their shops in the nearby hawkers zone. Calling Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Lata Agarwal, Verma said that as soon as these shopkeepers get space, they should shift to the hawkers zone.
