Brahmin Community: Backbone of Sanatan Dharma
Indore(Team Newsbuddy) : The Brahmin community gathering, organized by the “Sarv Brahmin Yuva Sangathan” Mahalakshmi Nagar unit at Jash Garden, Mahalakshmi Nagar, was a grand celebration of tradition, culture, and unity. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of Brahmin families and became a shining example of the community’s commitment to preserving its values and fostering togetherness.
The highlight of the event was the unique “Matru-Pitru Vandan” program, which honored joint families where three generations live together under one roof, sharing meals from a single kitchen. Senior family members were worshiped and respected by their children, symbolizing the strengthening of familial values and traditions. Additionally, students scoring over 85% were felicitated with medals and certificates to encourage academic excellence and inspire the younger generation.
Community leaders share a vision for a unified community
The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including Pandit Yogesh Mishra, Pandit Chandramohan Dubey, Councilor Pandit Manoj Mishra, Ward 37 Councilor’s spouse Pandit Mahesh Joshi, Pandit K.K. Jha, Pandit Raju Sharma, Pandit Anup Mishra, Pandit Basant Naik, and others. Pandit Amit Trivedi presided over the program, with Vinay Tripathi serving as the master of ceremonies. Pandit Vishwas Dwivedi expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, ensuring the event ended on a positive and inspiring note.
City President Shri Sandeep Joshi highlighted the vital role of the Brahmin community in preserving Sanatan Dharma for thousands of years, calling it the “backbone of Hindu Dharma.” He emphasized the need to stand united against casteism and promote harmony. Joshi encouraged families to celebrate Parshuram Jayanti together as a mark of their cultural and spiritual pride.
The event concluded with attendees pledging to celebrate Parshuram Jayanti with their entire families, strengthening their commitment to tradition and unity.
