Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): Senior spokesperson of the State Congress Committee, Surendra Verma has said that the local tribals are being crushed between two parties in the BJP government. On one hand, complaints of fake encounters are constantly coming in Abujhmad of Bijapur, Pidia, Koylibeda, Narayanpur, on the other hand, Naxalites are killing innocent villagers accusing them of being informers.

Within the last 18 days, 10 innocent villagers including two women have been killed by Naxalites in Dantewada, Bijapur and Sukma on suspicion of being informers. The BJP government has completely failed in protecting the people of the state.

Senior spokesperson of the State Congress Committee, Surendra Verma has said that the killing of four innocent villagers in a single day is enough to expose the claims of the BJP government of Naxal control. On 12 December, the administration claimed that seven Naxalites were killed in a Naxal encounter in Abujhmad of Narayanpur district, out of which five people are local tribals, this claim was made by the victim families and villagers, not only this, four minors are injured in the said fake encounter.

The government is in a state of confusion in Naxal matters, despite the passage of one year, this government has not been able to formulate any concrete Naxal policy till now. Converting Bastar into a cantonment can never be a proper solution for Naxal control. Local tribals are being crushed from both sides. This government has no vision for the development of Bastar. This government has not been able to formulate a relief, rehabilitation and concrete surrender policy till now. This government has completely lost the trust of the local tribals. Tribals suffering from atrocities from both sides are forced to migrate.

State Congress Committee senior spokesperson Surendra Verma has said that the BJP government’s evil intention is only on the resources of Bastar. Tribals are being intimidated at gunpoint. During the 15 years of Raman Raj, more than 3 lakh tribals were forced to migrate from 600 villages of Bastar. They had to leave their water, forests, land and take refuge in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Orissa and now
preparations are being made to repeat the same history once again.
