Sai Dham United Football Club Mhow win Indore District Football Championship
2 min readIndore (Team Newsbuddy): The mega final match of Indore District Football Championship was played at Khepr Nehru Stadium football ground. Sai Dham United Football Club of Mhow defeated Anand Football Club (1-0) and captured the Indore District Football Championship. In the first half of the game, Anand Club Mhow team was seen dominating. Its main striker trio of Sahil Gosar, Ganesh Birla and Sagar Gosar kept attacking by making many brilliant moves from both ends. But the team did not get success and when Sahil Gosar of Anand Club was shown a red card by the center referee Sharad Silawat for committing a danger foul, the team kept playing with only 10 players. Anand Club had to bear the brunt of this. The game remained goalless till the first interval. In the second half of the game, Mhow team attacked Anand Football Club. In the 55th minute, forward line player Joy Isaias beat three players through a beautiful pass from Oscar Patidar. He thrilled thousands of spectators present in the stadium by scoring a spectacular winning goal for his team. Industrialist and social worker Abhay Dubey and Manish Singal distributed prizes to the players of the winning team! The program was presided over by Indore District Football Association President Deepak Joshi (Pintu). Guests were welcomed by Rinku Verma, Lokendra Verma, Ramchandra Chauhan, Ramesh Jhirwar, Ata Shakeel, Danny Hatunia, Ekta Batham, Abhijeet Tank, Anurag Munim. The program was effectively conducted by Alankar Raikwar. In the competition, the best goalkeeper was awarded to Raj Sachan, best defense to Sagar Gosar, best forward to Ashutosh Silawat, and the best scorer title was given to Joy Isaias!
