Police assures quick action against culprits

Bijapur (Team Newsbuddy) : Police has recovered the body of local journalist Mukesh Chandrakar who was missing for the last 2 days in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Mukesh was murdered and his body was recovered from the septic tank present in the yard of local contractor Suresh Chandrakar.

It is alleged that the contractor’s brother Ritesh Chandrakar took Mukesh Chandrakar with him to the yard in a planned manner on the first day of the new year. After this, along with other accused, he attacked journalist Mukesh with an axe on his head and then killed him by attacking his body with a sharp weapon. After the murder, the journalist’s body was thrown into the septic tank.

Police came into action under pressure from journalists
After pressure from local journalists, the police finally raided the yard of contractor Suresh Chandrakar on the basis of suspicion. After this, Mukesh’s body was taken out by breaking the concrete septic tank. At present, the body has been sent for post-mortem.
The last rites of journalist Mukesh Chandrakar will be performed on Saturday i.e. today. After this incident, there is a lot of anger among the journalists of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Raman Singh, PCC President Deepak Baij and former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel have also expressed grief over this incident. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has directed the Bijapur police to take strict action against the murder accused.

After the murder, the body was dumped in the septic tank

Local journalists of Bijapur say that contractor Suresh Chandrakar and his brother Ritesh Chandrakar have an important role in the murder of Mukesh Chandrakar. Suspects have been detained in this case, but the police have not been able to arrest the accused Chandrakar brothers yet. If the journalists of Bijapur are to be believed, this is a planned murder.

On January 1, Mukesh Chandrakar wished all the journalists a Happy New Year through social media. On the same day, contractor Ritesh Chandrakar called him and took him to his yard in Chattanpara behind the bus stand. There is a full boundary here. There is no clue at the crime scene that would suggest a murder has taken place there.
The killers attacked Mukesh Chandrakar with an axe on his forehead. There is a deep injury mark on his head. The back of the head and the chest have also been attacked with a sharp weapon. After this, the body was thrown in the septic tank and thick concrete was laid on the tank. The police took out the body by breaking the tank with a JCB.

SP says – arrest will be made soon

Bastar journalists say that strict action should be taken against the contractor and all the people involved in this murder. Also, bulldozers should be run on all his legal and illegal constructions. SP Jitendra Yadav says that no one will be spared in this case. Strictest action will be taken. Whoever is involved in the murder will be arrested as soon as possible.

What was the matter?

Bijapur’s local journalist Mukesh Chandrakar was missing since 8 pm on January 1 and his phone was also found switched off. On the second day, January 2, Mukesh Chandrakar’s brother Ukesh Chandrakar filed a missing report of his brother in Bijapur police station and on January 3, Mukesh’s body was recovered by the police. At present, only after the arrest of the accused will it be known why Ritesh Chandrakar along with other accused killed Mukesh?
