Nayanthara in trouble: After Dhanush, now makers of ‘Chandramukhi’ sent notice

Hyderabad (Team Newsbuddy) : Ever since Nayanthara’s documentary ‘Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale’ was released, the actress has been in legal trouble. The documentary was released on Netflix in November last year. After this, actor Dhanush sent a legal notice to Nayanthara. Actually, a few seconds of BTS footage of Dhanush’s production film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhan’ were included in the documentary. Dhanush sent a legal notice to the actress demanding Rs 10 crore for using the content of the film without permission. Nayanthara had reacted to this by issuing a public statement. Now a new controversy has surfaced over the documentary.
‘Chandramukhi’ makers demand Rs 5 crore
Dhanush had filed a case against Nayanthara, her husband and director Vignesh Shivan and Netflix. Now the makers of Nayanthara’s superhit film ‘Chandramukhi’ have also sent a notice to the actress and Netflix. It is alleged that a clip from ‘Chandramukhi’ has been used in Nayanthara’s documentary. The makers have sent a legal notice to Nayanthara and Netflix demanding Rs 5 crore for the unauthorized use of the film’s content.
Waiting for Nayanthara’s response
After the release of her documentary, Nayanthara is facing continuous legal challenges. After Dhanush sent a legal notice, Nayanthara revealed through a social media post that Dhanush demanded Rs 10 crore for alleged copyright infringement. Now that the makers of Chandramukhi have sent a notice, the actress’ fans and the industry are waiting for Nayanthara to break her silence on this issue.
