BJP government is promoting cow smuggling by closing Gauthan: Congress

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the BJP government is promoting cow smuggling by closing Gauthans. More than 10000 bovine animals have been smuggled in 1 year of the BJP government. During the Congress government, the BJP had opposed the Gauthans, today their intention is clearly understood that they were opposing the Gauthan built for the protection of cows to help the smugglers and as soon as the government was formed, the first step they took was to close the Gauthans, due to which cow smuggling has increased in the entire state, cows are dying on the road due to accidents and hunger and the BJP, which does politics in the name of Gau Mata, is sitting with closed eyes.

Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the Gauthan has been closed for 1 year and the government has not taken any decision to open it. The Congress party demands that the Gauthan should be opened immediately and the schemes running from there should also be started as before. This will stop cow smuggling and also stop the deaths of cows due to road accidents and other reasons. The dream shown by the BJP government to create a cow sanctuary has not been realised yet.
