KKK Bridge Lovers Juniors team takes lead

Indore. Kalani Trophy matches started on Thursday under the 20th Maharaja Yashwantrao Holkar National Bridge Competition being played at Yashwant Club. More than 50 teams from across the country are participating in this trophy. For the first time, foreign players are also playing in Indore.
After a total of 5 rounds on the first day, Kolkata’s KKK Bridge Lovers Junior team was in the first position with 83.13 points. Kolkata and Maharashtra’s Shri Radhe team was in the second position with 71.11 points. Kolkata’s Monika Jaju’s team was in the third position. They had scored 66.82 points so far. Delhi’s Formidables team had maintained the fourth position by scoring 66.4 points. Maharashtra’s Ruia Blazers team was in the fifth position with 66.26 points after five rounds. Kota Combine team was in the sixth position, which scored 65.52 points. There will be a total of 8 rounds of Kalani Trophy, after which the top 15 and a local team will play the pre-quarterfinals.
Excellent performance of Indore’s Avagard team
Indore’s Avagard team has also performed well so far and was in the 13th position. It had scored 60.2 points after five rounds so far. The team includes captain Dr. Anil Vijayvargiya, Pankaj Agarwal, Jitesh Agarwal, Dr. Vinod Naneria, Prashant Singhal and Hemant Purkar.
For the first time, foreign players are also playing in Indore
In this bridge competition with the second largest prize money in the country, players from all over the country come to play. This time four players from abroad have also come to Indore to play. These players are Trond and Harald Aade from Norway and Oren Toledano and Ami Zamir from Israel.
