Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani reached Raipur on Sunday on a visit to Chhattisgarh. Here he met the state CM Vishnudev Sai at his residence. After that the Adani Group announced a huge investment in the state. During the meeting with CM Sai, there was a discussion about the expansion of power plants in Raipur, Korba and Raigarh. In a statement issued by the Chhattisgarh Public Relations Department, information about the investment of the Adani Group has been given to the media.

Investment of Rs 65 thousand crores in Chhattisgarh: According to the information given by the Chhattisgarh Public Relations Department, the Adani Group will invest Rs 65 thousand crores in Chhattisgarh. This includes investment in power projects in Raipur, Korba, Raigarh. Apart from this, the Adani Group will also invest in the cement industry. In this way, the Adani Group will play an important role in industry development in Chhattisgarh.

In Gautam Adani’s meeting with CM Sai, there was a discussion about the manufacture of defense related equipment in the state. Along with this, there has been a discussion on possible cooperation in the establishment of Global Capability Center. There has also been talk about setting up a data center in Chhattisgarh – Chhattisgarh Public Relations Department

Adani Group’s power plant will be expanded in Raipur, Korba and Raigarh. For this, Adani Group has announced a planned investment of Rs 60,000 crore. This expansion will add an additional 6,120 MW to the total power generation capacity of Chhattisgarh. Adani Group will spend Rs 5,000 crore for the development and expansion of cement plant – Chhattisgarh Public Relations Department

Adani Group will spend under CRR: Adani Group will spend in Chhattisgarh under CRR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Under this, Adani Group will contribute in the field of education, health care, skill development and tourism. Under CRR, Adani Group will provide assistance of a total of Rs 10 thousand crore in the next four years.
