Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Snethra Babu of Tamil Nadu defeated Saanvi Shah of MP in an interesting match to win the title of the National Junior Girls Billiards Competition being played under the aegis of Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association.

In the Junior Girls Billiards match of the competition at Indore Tennis Club, Snethra Babu of Tamil Nadu took the lead against Saanvi of MP from the very beginning, but Saanvi also showed her best game and gave a tough competition to Snethra. But Snethra won the match 125-74. Snethra had earlier won the gold medal in Sub Junior Girls Billiards in the year 2021. At the same time, she won the bronze medal in Junior Girls Billiards this year. In the year 2022, she won bronze medal in Junior Girls Billiards and silver medal in World Women Billiards Championship. Also, in 2022 itself, she was in top 8 in women’s billiards. In the year 2023, she was in top 6 in women’s billiards and this time Sneh has won the gold medal of Junior Girls Billiards 2025.

L. Shruthi of Tamil Nadu defeated Anya Patel of Gujarat 119-65 at the third position.

Amee, Anupama, Kirtana and Natasha in semi-finals

After the final league matches of Senior Women’s Snooker, Amee Kamini, Anupama Ramachandran, Kirtana Pandya and Natasha Chaitanya of Madhya Pradesh entered the semi-finals.

In the final league matches, MP. Amee Kamini of Karnataka defeated Arancha Sanchez of Maharashtra 3-2 (66-39, 4-67, 68-17, 44-87, 76-16).

Anupama Ramachandran of Tamil Nadu defeated Ishika Shah of MP 3-2 (33-69, 61-50, 52-67, 90-22, 67-44). Natasha Chaitanya of Karnataka defeated L. Shruthi of Tamil Nadu 3-1 (74-16, 44-52, 60-35, 58-19). Keertana Pandya of Karnataka defeated Anya Patel of Gujarat 3-2 (63-22, 27-67, 88-46, 41-69, 106-37).
The semi-final matches will be played on Wednesday from 10 am while the final will be played at 3 pm at Indore Tennis Club.
