Congress confident of wining Raipur Mayor seat again- Deepak Baij

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): State Congress President Deepak Baij held a meeting of Congress people of Raipur Municipal Corporation area in Congress Bhawan. He told the Congressmen that Congress has to be made mayor once again in Raipur. Elections have to be fought strongly and unitedly in all 70 wards of the city. Those loyal to the party will get a chance. All should go among the public and create an atmosphere in favor of the party. He directed all the ward in-charges to immediately organize meetings in their wards.

State Congress President Deepak Baij said that in the last election, Congress had won in most of the municipal corporations, municipalities and nagar panchayats. There is an atmosphere against the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state. People are disappointed with the government due to the deteriorating law and order of the state, daily murders, rapes, robberies, stabbing incidents, the BJP government has disappointed the public in its one year tenure.

The promise made by the BJP to the public during the assembly elections has not been fulfilled in one year. Neither the promise of providing cylinders at Rs. 500 nor the promise of providing 18 lakh houses was fulfilled. Electricity prices have increased in BJP rule. The BJP government has stopped the 50 percent discount on electricity prices up to 400 units given during the Congress rule. There is anger among the public against the government, the public will vote against the BJP in the municipal elections.
