Raipur. State Forest and Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap has said on the arrest of former Excise Minister Kawasi Lakhma that Lakhma is a victim of the conspiracies of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Kashyap said that Baghel used Lakhma as a pawn to carry out his scams.

State Forest Minister Kashyap said that the entire liquor scam took place under the patronage of Bhupesh Baghel and Baghel made Chhattisgarh an ATM of the Gandhi family by looting public money and this money also reached Sonia-Rahul. Kashyap said that Kawasi Lakhma was deliberately made the Excise Minister so that he could execute this scam. It is very clear that Bhupesh Baghel is the main scammer of the liquor scam and Kawasi Lakhma has been trapped as a pawn in it.

Baghel had made a long-term plan to commit all scams including liquor, Lakhma, who was an accomplice in this, is now paying the price for it. Those who have been arrested before this are also close to Bhupesh Baghel and are trying hard to get bail. Kashyap said that the investigating agencies will definitely reach the kingpins and political masters of the scams. Those who looted the hard-earned money of the poor people of the state, even those who served them fake and inferior liquor will be punished for their deeds.
