Raipur(Team Newsbuddy); Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Surendra Verma said that Deputy CM Arun Sao, who failed to protect OBC reservation, should immediately resign from his post. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao calls himself a well-wisher of the OBC class, but his government has abolished OBC reservation in the district panchayats. Why is Arun Sao silent on the injustice done to the OBC class? He should immediately get reservation for the OBC class, otherwise he should resign from the post of Deputy Chief Minister.
Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Surendra Verma said that the BJP government is anti-OBC, so maliciously the Say government has abolished OBC reservation in all the district panchayats of the state. In 2019, during the Congress government, out of 27 district panchayats in the state, 7 district panchayats were reserved for the OBC class, at present not even 1 district panchayat president post is reserved for OBC in 33 districts. Deputy CM Arun Saw is saying that OBC class has benefited, then he should tell that there are zero seats for OBC in 33 districts, what kind of benefit is this? By amending the reservation process not only in urban bodies but also in three-tier panchayat elections, the Saw government has deprived the people of OBC class from contesting elections.

BJP leaders are still lying that OBC class has a big benefit in the plains but the reality is that the largest population in the entire state is of OBC and this government has abolished the rights of all those.
Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Surendra Verma said that more than 54 percent of the population of the state is of OBC, reservation was not given according to the population of OBC in the state. The BJP government has done injustice to the OBCs by hiding the actual data of OBCs. It is very sad and condemnable that Deputy CM Arun Sao, who comes from the OBC category, is supporting the unfair decision of the BJP government taken against the interests of the OBC category.
