91st National Billiards and Snooker Competition gets going at Yeshwant Club

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): Under the aegis of Indian Billiards and Snooker Association, in joint hosting of Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association and Yashwant Club, the 91st National Billiards and Snooker Championship began in the Smash Hall of Yashwant Club. This championship will be played from 17 January to 10 February.

The national championship was inaugurated in Yashwant Club under the chief hospitality of Yashwant Club Secretary Sanjay Gorani. On this occasion, Chairman of MP Billiards and Snooker Association Bholu Mehta, General Secretary of Indian Billiards and Snooker Association Sunil Bajaj and Vice President Ashwini Puranik along with the members of the executive of Yashwant Club were present. 15 events will be played in this national championship.

Boys sub-junior billiards and snooker matches began today.

In the first round matches of Boys Billiards, S.M. Shine of Tamil Nadu defeated Afzal M. of Goa 111-41,
Vaibhav Chadda of Telangana defeated Aarav Dhawan of M.P. 130-54,
Vedant K.S. of Tamil Nadu defeated Arshvir Saini of M.P. 131-69,
Rohan Mishra of Delhi defeated K. Mohan of Tamil Nadu 184-65. In the first round matches of Sub Junior Boys category. A.K. Beni of Tamil Nadu defeated Vihaan Gidwani of M.P. 2-0,
Jihan M. of Goa defeated Raghav Soni of M.P. 2-0, Paras Porwal of Andhra Pradesh defeated Kush Nahar of M.P. 2-0, Ishan Raj Chaudhary of West Bengal defeated K. Mohan of M.P. K defeated Krishna Pariyani 2-0.
