Workshop on regression analysis in econometrics held at SoS Economics,PRSU

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): A one-day workshop on Regression Analysis in Econometrics is held at School of Studies in Economics, Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. The Speaker of the workshop is Vikram, Associate Professor, Department of Management, K.K. Modi University, Durg, Chhattisgarh. In the inaugural session the welcome address was given by Dr. Ravindra K Brahme, Professor and Head, SoS in Economics and Convener of the workshop.

Prof. Brahme has highlighted the scope and importance of econometrics and suggested various areas of research in which the application of econometric tools is useful. In the first session the participants gained knowledge about regression analysis in econometrics and its implication in research. Post lunch Hands on Practice were also provided to the participants in advanced software with sufficient data sets. Dr. B.L.Sonekar , Professor, SoS in Economics and the Organising Secretary of the workshop delivered the vote of thanks. The workshop was attended by Dr. Archana Sethi, Dr. Pragati Krishnan from SoS in Economics along with scholars and students of various UTDs of PRSU.
