Devi Ahliya Bai Holkar International Airport (Indore)

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): A plate of poha is being served at Indore airport, which has made its mark in the country and the world for poha, for Rs 399. The price of two samosas is Rs 303 and a cup of tea for Rs 190. A passenger has shared photos of the rates of food and drinks at the airport restaurant and wrote that do they add gold and silver to it at the airport.

It is noteworthy that a few days ago, Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha had raised questions in Parliament on the rising air tickets and expensive food at the airport. He had said that a water bottle available in the market for Rs 20 is available at the airport for Rs 100. A tea at the airport costs Rs 250 and a samosa for Rs 350. Since then, a debate has started about expensive food at the airport.
The government has also indicated that cheap breakfast will be made available at the airport. In the same sequence, this morning a passenger has shared the photos of the menu of the restaurant of Indore Airport in his tweet (X).

In which the price of Poha is 399, Samosa 303 rupees, Tea 190 rupees, Lassi 249, Vada Pav 329, Puri Bhaji 469, Chole Puri 549, Paratha Combo 549, Chole Bhature 619, Pav Bhaji Combo 619 rupees and many other things can be seen to be 10 to 20 times more expensive than the market, whereas a few years ago at Indore Airport itself, a company was serving a food thali for only 100 rupees. A small bottle of water which is available outside for Rs. 10 is available at the airport for Rs. 70. A plate of samosas containing two samosas is available for Rs. 320.

There is no option of taking a single samosa (samosa is absolutely cold and the quality is also average). The rates at big airports are very high. The big thing is that the people who bargain for the vegetables available in front of their homes are seen eating and drinking with great pomp in the airport restaurants.
