Anas wins triple crown for second consecutive year

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Anas Mohammad Sheikh won the triple crown in the badminton competition of the Indoor Lawyers Sports Tournament 2024-25, organized by the High Court Bar Association. Anas won the singles, doubles, and mixed doubles titles, repeating his feat from last year.

In the singles final, Anas defeated Ravi Pamanani. In the semifinals, Anas had defeated Anshul Agarwal, while Ravi had defeated Satyansh Parmar. In the doubles final, the pair of Anas Mohammad Sheikh and Satyansh Parmar, who were also last year’s winners, defeated the pair of Sudhanshu Vyas and Ravi Pamanani.

In the mixed doubles final, the pair of Anas Mohammad Sheikh and Monisha Kasturi defeated the pair of Sudhanshu Vyas and Shradha Singh Parihar. Sanjivani Marathe won the women’s singles title, defeating Monisha Kasturi. Monisha won one title and was the runner-up in another.

The tournament also included competitions in table tennis, carrom, and chess. Amit Pal won the men’s singles title in table tennis, while Manoj Soni and Akash Thakur won the doubles title.

Sadhana Nehlani won the women’s title in table tennis, while Deepmala Rajput was the runner-up.

Mandhar Gandhe won the chess title, defeating Siddhant Masih.

Vishwendra Pratap Singh won the snooker singles title, while Nitin Raghuwanshi and Abhay Ukas won the doubles title. The tournament was inaugurated by Justice Sanjeev S Kalgaonkar and Justice Binod Kumar Dwivedi. Justice Pranay Verma distributed trophies and certificates to the winners and participants.

The program was presided over by Ritesh Inani, President of the High Court Bar Association. Lokesh Mehta, Secretary, Mridul Bhatnagar, Vice President, Sagar Mule, Joint Secretary, and other members of the association were present. Sudhanshu Vyas conducted the program, and Mridul Bhatnagar proposed the vote of thanks.
