Indore: The 91st National Senior Billiards Championship will witness a thrilling finale between two world champions, Pankaj Advani and Saurav Kothari. The championship is being organized by the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) in association with the Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association and the Yashwant Club.

Twenty-eight-time world champion Pankaj Advani, who has won numerous accolades including the Padma Shri, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, Arjuna Award, and Padma Bhushan, defeated Brijesh Damani 4-0 in the semifinals to enter the final. Advani won the match with scores of 152-98, 150-0, 151-46, and 152-115, including a century break of 150 in the second frame and 101 in the third frame.

In the second semifinal, 2018 world champion Saurav Kothari defeated Ryan Rajmi of Maharashtra 4-2 in a closely contested match. Both players exhibited exceptional skills, with two century breaks each. Kothari won the match with scores of 152-00, 24-150, 154-84, 151-124, 02-151, and 151-121.

Earlier, in the quarterfinals, Pankaj Advani defeated Dhruv Sitwala 4-1, Ryan Rajmi defeated Rohan Jhamtani 4-0, Saurav Kothari defeated Dhvaj Haria 4-3, and Brijesh Damani defeated Ketan Chawla 4-3 in a closely contested match.
