On Friday, MP Shankar Lalwani convened a high-profile meeting with industry leaders and experts to draft a visionary blueprint for the city’s economic future. The discussions identified five high-potential sectors—IT, Pharma, Textiles, Food Processing, and Automobiles—as key drivers of Indore’s growth story.
(Speaking at the meeting, MP Lalwani emphasized Indore’s vital role in India’s journey toward becoming a $5 trillion economy under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated, “Indore is already the fastest-growing city in India, thanks to the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Our aim now is to strengthen its economy further, making it a model of self-reliance and innovation.” The meeting, held under the Seva Sankalp initiative, saw active participation from prominent industrialists and senior officials of MPIDC. Discussions focused on leveraging innovation, attracting large-scale investments, and creating robust employment opportunities across the selected sectors.
Lalwani, addressing the gathering, remarked, “By collaborating across these five priority sectors, Indore can firmly establish itself as a global economic hub. The insights and proposals shared by industry leaders today will serve as a roadmap for accelerating our city’s growth trajectory.”
