PIMR celebrates 76th Republic Day with patriotic fervor

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR) celebrated the 76th Republic Day of the Indian Republic with great pride and enthusiasm. The event commenced with the national flag hoisting by the chief guest, Prestige Group’s co-founder, Prestige Education Foundation’s chairman, and Prestige University’s Chancellor, Dr. Davish Jain. In his address, Dr. Jain said, “India is a young nation, and its progress lies in the hands of its youth. We must remain steadfast in our goals and strive to achieve them. `Education and agriculture are the twin pillars of national development, and I am proud to say that the Prestige Group significantly contributes to both. He asked students to draw inspiration from the visionary ideals of our Constitution makers and work together to build a prosperous India. Emphasizing the importance of the Indian Constitution, he urged students to be aware of their rights and responsibilities in shaping the nation’s future. 

PIMR Group Director Dr. S. S. Bhakar highlighted environmental conservation and energy-saving practices, encouraging small but impactful daily changes to conserve energy. He led the gathering in a pledge to reduce electricity consumption by 20% in February. The event showcased vibrant cultural performances by students, including dances, poems, speeches, and a thought-provoking play that illustrated the formation of the Constituent Assembly and the journey of the Indian Constitution, leaving the audience inspired and informed.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks from Prestige UG Director Col. Dr. S. Raman Iyer. A large number of students and faculty from various PIMR institutions, including PIMR Director Engineer Kapil Jain and Pooja Jain, attended the function. The event was coordinated by senior faculty members Dr. Saurabh Singh, Ashru Mitra, and their team.
