All set for 38th National Games

MP’s Kalari Payattu team to participate in historic event
Indore (Team Newsbuddy): The 38th National Games will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 28 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Young players from Madhya Pradesh’s Kalari Payattu team are also excited to showcase their talents in this historic event.

The Madhya Pradesh Kalari Payattu team, led by coach Vishal Singh Solanki and manager Ayushi Bansal, has departed from Indore. The team includes players such as Gaurav Dangi, Anuj Yadav, Nitesh Yadav, Govind Kankarwal, Sant Sharana Verma, Arpit Patel, Harshita Shukla, Nafisa Khan, Suhaani Gwal, Pankhuri Dubey, Kanisha Setpal, Payal Patidar, Saloni Verma, Saloni Thakur, and Priyanshi Jaiswal.

Gajendra Singh Rathore, General Secretary of the Malwa Kalari Payattu Association, Madhya Pradesh, encouraged the players. Ramesh Mendola, President of the Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association, Digvijay Singh, General Secretary, Ravi Gupta, Director of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, and Assistant Director Pradeep Sar and Vikas Sar also extended their best wishes to the players.

Kalari Payattu is an ancient Indian martial art that originated in Kerala. It is also known as the “mother of martial arts.” This art form has a history spanning over 3,000 years and is attributed to Parshuram. Kalari Payattu has been recognized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of India, and is part of the Khelo India Youth Games and the National Games. Jayshree Panwar, Abhishek Verma, Himanshu Yadav, Yash Bhagwati Yadav, Ashwini Pal, Sakshi Soni, Rishabh Chauhan, Pankaj Dubey, and Vinod Kushwaha extended their congratulations.
