2 min read

Bhopal (Team Newsbuddy). The Board Private School Association has taken a big step. The association has called for a bandh in protest against the condition of registered rent agreement in the rules of recognition. On Thursday (30 January), 34 thousand private schools from class 1 to 8 of MP Board will remain closed.

The studies of students will be affected in all the districts including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain. The operators of 34 thousand schools across the state will go to Gandhi statues on Thursday and submit memorandum. The association says that the new rules will cause difficulty in running small and medium level schools, so the association is demanding the removal of these conditions.

The association demands that the condition of registered lease for recognition of schools up to class 8 should be abolished. Notarized lease should be implemented as before. There should be a ban on taking security fund of Rs 40 thousand for recognition. Right to Education (RTE) amount should be given on time. The increase in recognition fee should be stopped.

The Madhya Pradesh government has made changes in the rules of recognition from 1st to 8th class. The government has made registered rent deed mandatory. A rule has been made to deposit a fixed deposit of Rs 40,000. Recognition fee has been increased. MP Board Private has opposed the new rules of the government. The association has demanded from the government that the schools which are already running should be kept out of this rule.

Difficulty in making registered rent agreement

The association says that they are not opposing any law or the government, but registered rent deed is not practical. Many schools run in rented buildings. There are problems in making a registered rent agreement of three years or five years. The registered rent agreement mentioned in the rules of recognition from 1st to 8th class should be reconsidered.
