Lakhma’s tantrums in jail: Demands liquor and chicken

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy). The jail administration is troubled by the tantrums of former excise minister Kawasi Lakhma, who is in jail in the liquor scam case. The jail staff is in a dilemma regarding Lakhma’s new demands and facilities every day. It is said that the jail staff is in trouble due to the long list of demands of Lakhma, which includes liquor and chicken-fish in food, good breakfast, tobacco-khaini and mattresses for rest. They are also facing the wrath of the former minister.

According to sources, a change in Lakhma’s behavior has also been seen for a week. He is looking irritable, on many occasions Lakhma, who gets angry over small things, is venting his anger on the jail guards.

According to the information, Congress MLA Devendra Yadav is also imprisoned in the cell adjacent to the one in which Lakhma is kept. He is often explaining to Lakhma and advising him to be patient. Despite this, neither is Lakhma’s anger calming down, nor does he look normal. It is also said that he has started pressurizing the officials to transfer him from jail to the hospital. However, his health check-up and treatment is also being done regularly in the jail hospital. Even the common prisoners are surprised by Lakhma’s strange behavior.

Former minister Kawasi Lakhma was sent to jail in judicial custody till February 4 by the ED’s special court. After questioning Kawasi Lakhma in the liquor scam, he was arrested and sent to jail on January 15. Currently, seeing the long list of demands of Lakhma, the jail administration has given up on him citing rules and regulations.
