Gwalior (Team Newsbuddy): Former constable of Madhya Pradesh Transport Department (RTO) Saurabh Sharma has been arrested. Two of his associates are also in police custody. Lokayukta police has taken crorepati Saurabh, his associates Chetan Singh and Sharad Jaiswal on remand till February 4. Now Saurabh Sharma’s lawyer has made a shocking claim.
Saurabh Sharma’s lawyer accused the officials
Saurabh Sharma’s lawyer Rakesh Parashar made a big allegation and said that Saurabh could be murdered like Atiq Ahmed. He said that along with giving remand, the Lokayukta Special Court had also given instructions to make proper arrangements for Saurabh’s security, but the officials allowed Saurabh to walk in the open, which is gross negligence. Rakesh Parashar said that if Saurabh is attacked or killed, then a case should be registered against all the responsible investigating officers for conspiring and participating in the murder.
Saurabh Sharma’s lawyer Rakesh Parashar has applied for urgent hearing in the court, which will be heard on February 4. Rakesh Parashar said that Saurabh has the names of big people, so they can get him killed. He has requested the government and Lokayukta police to provide security to Saurabh during interrogation and also get his videography done during interrogation.
Property worth more than 100 crores recovered?
ED and Income Tax Department have found goods worth about 100 crores in the investigation so far. Lokayukta found goods worth 7.98 crores including cash, gold, silver, diamond jewellery. The Income Tax Department has found gold, silver and diamond jewellery worth 41.60 crores. Goods worth Rs 52.60 crore including Rs 11 crore cash have been found. ED has found goods worth more than Rs 33 crore including bank balance of Rs 4 crore, FD of Rs 6 crore, property worth Rs 23 crore. Various objectionable documents have also been found during the search operation.
