Pune (Team Newsbuddy): India registered a spectacular victory by 15 runs in the fourth T20I match against England and with this took an unassailable 3-1 lead in the 5-match series. In this exciting match played in Pune, Team India batted first and scored 181 runs and in response, England were all out for 166 runs. Harshit Rana and Ravi Bishnoi destroyed England’s batting by taking 3-3 wickets.
India had a very bad start.
England fast bowler Saqib Mahmood gave a big blow to the Indian innings by taking 3 wickets in his very first over. He sent Sanju Samson, Tilak Verma and Suryakumar Yadav to the pavilion early, putting the Indian team on the backfoot. However, Abhishek Sharma (29) and Rinku Singh (30) hit some good shots, but the Indian innings was given stability by Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey. Both batted with patience and took the team’s score to 181.
England team faltered after a good start-
England started fast chasing the target of 182 runs. Phil Salt and Jos Buttler scored aggressively, but the brilliant bowling of Ravi Bishnoi and Harshit Rana did not allow the England batsmen to survive. Harry Brook (50) and Ben Duckett (39) struggled for some time, but the entire team collapsed for 166 runs in front of the Indian bowlers.
