NIT Raipur organises closing ceremony for Aavartan’25
2 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy): National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur’s Technocracy- The Technical Committee organised the annual Tech-fest, ‘Aavartan 24-25’, on 1st and 2nd February 2025. Aavartan’25 witnessed a spectacular display of technical brilliance, innovation, and competitive spirit. The Festival was organised under the guidance of Dr. Manu Vardhan, Professor In-charge, Technocracy. The event aimed to Improve the technical acumen of the young and creative minds.
Throughout the day, attendees witnessed remarkable competitions such as Vigyan Exhibition, Escape the Matrix, Jenga, Cornhole, Code Sprint Relay, Ecopolis, Drone Racing, Mock CID, Agon Games, Pixel Playground, Reverse Coding, Technographix, and the much-anticipated Robo Show at the football ground. These events provided a platform for students to showcase their technical acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Samir Bajpai, Head, CDC, Dr. Anuj Shukla, Faculty In-charge, NITRRFIE and Dr. Manu Vardhan, Faculty In-charge, Technocracy. Adding to the grandeur of the evening, an inspiring Speaker Session was held, where experts shared their insights, motivating the audience. Roni Mondal, co-founder of Matri- a women wellness brand, shared his journey from 2018, highlighting IIT Patna’s seed grant support, selling 10,000 units, and improving their device based on customer feedback. He explained its working mechanism, pulse pattern, and pain reduction benefits.
The robo show featured Chitti, a robot that performed dance moves and push-ups, mimicking human actions based on gestures. The overall winners of Vigyaan were Team Care Catalyst, while Team StrataSafe secured the runner-up position. Winners and runners-up were also declared for each branch, and all were felicitated by the faculty members.
The event culminated in the Closing Ceremony, marking the conclusion of Aavartan 2025 with great enthusiasm and a sense of accomplishment.
