Easy wins for Day Boarding Mhow, Anand Eleven Indore

All India Moira Gold Cup Football Competition

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): In the 30th All India Moira Gold Cup Football Competition organized by Central Gymkhana Club in the memory of Prakash Sonkar and Suresh Aaran, the teams of Young SF Boys and Malwa United Indore won resoundingly in the tiebreaker, while Day Boarding Mhow and Anand Eleven Indore won easily.

Competition coordinator Bharat Mathurawala told that in the first match of the third day of the first phase of this competition sponsored by Moira Sariya, Sports and Youth Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh and Indore Municipal Corporation at Nehru Stadium Ground , Young SF Boys defeated Leaders Club 3-1 in the tiebreaker. Till the stipulated time both the teams were tied at 1-1. Afan Sheikh scored a goal for Leaders Club in the 10th minute itself and gave the team the lead. At the same time, Pratik Naagre scored a goal for Young SF Boys in the 25th minute and brought the score to a tie. The score remained the same till the final whistle blew. The result was a penalty shoot-out, in which Young SF Boys emerged victorious.

The second match was between Day Boarding Mhow and Grass Root Indore. In which the Day Boarding team played brilliantly and registered an easy 3-0 win over Grass Root Indore. Satyanarayan scored for Day Boarding in the 10th minute, Uday in the 25th minute and Taufik in the 40th minute. The Grass Root team could not score any goal.

The third match of the day was between Malwa United Indore and Seven Striker Mhow. In which both the teams kept searching for the goal till the stipulated time and no goal was scored till the final whistle was blown. Penalty shoot out had to be resorted to for the result in which Malwa United won the match 4-2.

The fourth match of the day was played in a very interesting manner. A fierce clash was witnessed between Anand Eleven Indore and Taj Club Mhow. In the 22nd minute, Manoj Khare displayed his skills brilliantly for Anand Eleven and scored the goal by bouncing the ball over the goalkeeper from outside the D. After falling behind by one goal, Taj Club made strong attacks on the goal post of Anand Eleven, but could not score any goal until the final whistle blew.

During the matches on Tuesday, MIC member Rajesh Udavat, Chhoti Gwaltoli police station in-charge Sanjeev Kamle, international runner Kartik Joshi introduced themselves to the players and encouraged them. Ramesh Mulchandani , Sanjay Lunawat , Bharat Mathurawala , KK Goyal, Mahesh Dalodra, Jitendra Garg, Vishnu Bindal, Arvind Tiwari were present on this occasion. The guests were welcomed by Sanjay Vijayvargiya, Manohar Mastana, Atul Agarwal, Ramesh Khandelwal , Pawan Singhal , Paras Jain, Munesh Sonkar, Jamuna Silawat , Narayan Kharbadikar , Sheikh Hameed.
