Boy kills six family members, reaches police station to confess crime

New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy): In a shocking incident in Venjaramoodu near Thiruvananthapuram, a 23-year-old boy confessed to the police that he had killed six people including his 13-year-old brother, 80-year-old grandmother and a woman. The woman is said to be his girlfriend. Afan came to the Venjaramoodu police station in the evening and confessed his crime.
Police said that the person has been identified as a person named Afan and he has been admitted to the hospital. Afan had claimed that he had consumed poison. At present, the police are busy finding the reason for this heinous crime. Police have confirmed the death of five people, while Afan’s mother has been admitted to a private medical college hospital in critical condition. He also attacked his mother. Two of the deceased were his close relatives.
According to media reports, Afan has told the police that he killed 6 members of the family because they were reluctant to repay the heavy debt he had incurred. However, the police doubt his statement and investigation is being done to gather information. To find out whether the accused is addicted to drugs or not, his phone and call details are being searched. It is reported that the accused first killed his 88 year-old grandmother at 3 pm in Pangode. After this, he reached SN Puram, where he killed his 58-year-old maternal uncle Abdul Latif and his wife Shahida Bibi.
