ACB-EOW raided forest officials, businessmen; seized cash

Sukma: Teams of ACB (Anti Corruption Bureau) and EOW (Economic Offenses Investigation Branch) raided several places simultaneously in the district. This action has been taken in connection with cases related to corruption and financial irregularities. During the raid, many important documents and information related to suspicious transactions have come to light.

Investigations are going on at the office and residence of DFO (Divisional Forest Officer). Raids have also been conducted at the places of businessmen. Inquiries are being made at many places in Konta and Chhindgarh. According to the information, reports of ACB and EOW action are also coming from other districts of South Bastar.
According to the information, a large amount of cash, property related documents, bank account details and digital data have been seized during the raid. Apart from this, the officials have also got information about many suspicious transactions. ACB and EOW teams are now investigating these documents and further action will be taken on the basis of inquiry. If the allegations are found to be true, legal action will be taken against the persons concerned.
