Massive fire in Mahamaya temple complex, many shops burnt to ashes

Ratanpur(Team Newsbuddy) : A massive fire suddenly broke out in the shops located in the Mahamaya temple complex ground at around 1 am in night. Within a short time, the fire engulfed many shops, burning goods worth lakhs of rupees to ashes.
Chaos as soon as the fire broke out
According to eyewitnesses, the fire spread so fast that the goods kept in the shops started burning within a few minutes. Shopkeepers and locals tried to extinguish the fire, but the flames were so terrible that they had to retreat. The shops were constructed with tarpaulin, wood and iron angles, due to which the fire spread rapidly.
Short circuit or conspiracy? Reason unknown so far
The cause of the fire has not been clear. According to preliminary estimates, short circuit or fire by some mischievous element is suspected. There was no security camera or guard at the spot, which is causing difficulty in investigation.
Shopkeepers suffer huge losses, demand for help from administration
In this fire, sugarcane machine, fridge, big freezer, utensils, cooler, food items, clothes and other items of many shopkeepers were burnt to ashes. The affected shopkeepers have demanded compensation from the administration so that their business can be revived.
Waiting for administration’s action
After the incident, the administration is expected to investigate the matter, identify the culprits and provide proper assistance to the victims. At present, no official statement
has come from the administration.
