ITBP opens new camp at Bedmakoti in Abujhmad area

For Fulfilling the resolution of the Government of India to eliminate the Naxalism by March 2026, the 41st Battalion, ITBP, Kondagaon, under the able leadership of Shri Rana Yudhvir Singh, DIG, Tactical Sector Headquarters (Bhubaneswar), ITBP, has taken a concrete step towards the elimination of Naxalism by establishing a new camp at Bedmakoti, about 5 km ahead of Kutul, which is known as the stronghold of Naxalites in Abujhmad area of Narayanpur district in Chhattisgarh.
The area of Bedmakoti is profoundly affected by Naxals and there will be a menace to the lives of the Jawans at every step. The establishment of a new camp in this area is being perceived as a major success of the security forces.
Singh said that we have been constantly getting guidance from O.P. Yadav, IG, Central Frontier, ITBP for establishing this camp. He also acknowledged Narendra Singh, Commandant and Himveers of 41st Battalion, ITBP for successfully establishing Bedmakoti Camp and also conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to Sunderraj P., IG Baster Range, Amit Kamble, DIG Kanker Range, Prabhat Kumar, S.P. Narayanpur, DRG and Chhattisgarh Police teams for their active cooperation. Amit Bhati, Commandant 53rd Battalion and Rajeev Gupta, Commandant, 45th Battalion were also present on this occasion.
