‘The Writer’s Block’ shines at Prestige International Film Festival

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The two-day Prestige International Film Festival, hosted by the Mass Media department of the Prestige Institute of Management and Research, concluded with a celebration of cinematic talent and youthful creativity. The highlight was the 48-Hour Short Film Challenge, where ‘The Writer’s Block’ bagged Best Film and Best Direction. Other winners included ‘Kavya’ (Second Best Film, Best Editing), ‘Pratibimb’ (Best Story), and ‘Kritika’ (Best Cinematography).
Vijay Vikram Singh (of Bigg Boss fame) was conferred with the Stellar Voice Acting Award, singer Chintan Bakliwal received the Kishore Da: The Musical Legacy Award, and local mimicry artist Ankit Sisodia was felicitated with the Versatile Entertainer Award.
Prestige Education Foundation Chairman Dr. Davish Jain praised the event’s creative spirit, calling it a platform that brings together diverse stories and talent across India. He also lauded the open-air screenings and the inspiring presence of artists like Anulata Raj Nair, Chitransh Raj, Ashok Pathak, Chandan Roy, and Vijay Vikram Singh.
Festival highlights included engaging sessions with actors. TV artist Chitransh Raj shared his passion for acting and filmmaking.  Chandan Roy called his role as “Vikas” in the Panchayat web series a turning point in his career. Seasoned voice artist Vijay Vikram Singh offered insights into voice artistry and wowed the audience with live Bigg Boss dialogue renditions. PIMR UG Director Dr. S. Raman Iyer thanked all participants, calling the event a symbol of the institute’s creative vision.
