NIT Raipur,Janyu Technologies sign MoU for Centre of Excellence for Robotics & Automation

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The National Institute of Technology Raipur (NIT Raipur) and Janyu Technologies Pvt. Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Robotics & Automation, marking a strategic partnership aimed at fostering innovation, research, and skill development in the fields of robotics, industrial automation, and artificial intelligence.

The agreement was formalized between Director NIT Raipur, Prof. N V Ramana Rao and Shri Abhimanyu Raja, Managing Director of Janyu Technologies Pvt Ltd., in the presence of Prof. Shrish Verma, Professor, ECE, Prof. S. Sanyal, Dean (Corporate Relation and Resource Mobilization) , Prof. Sameer Bajpai, Head (Career Development Center), Prof. G.D. Ramtekkar, Dean (Planning & Development) , Prof. S. Gupta, Dean( Academics), Prof. N.D. Londhe, Registrar of NIT Raipur, and Head of Operations Mr. Rajesh P Modgekar, VP-Business Mr. Sudhir Jha of Janyu Technologies Pvt Ltd.

The CoE is envisioned as a collaborative hub for the development of cutting-edge robotic systems and AI-driven applications, providing hands-on training, project work, and advanced research opportunities for students, researchers, and professionals. It will support the launch of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Robotics & Automation and a certified training program aimed at both engineering students and the industry workforce. This initiative will also open the door to creating a skilled workforce in the field of Robotics and Automation within the state of Chhattisgarh.

This partnership reflects NIT Raipur’s commitment to promoting industry-integrated education and applied research, and positions Janyu Technologies to play a key role in skilling future engineers. The collaboration is expected to significantly enhance employability, support industrial innovation, and contribute to India’s leadership in the global robotics and automation landscape.
