Indore to host Cabinet meet on May 20

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): A significant cabinet meeting of the state government, chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, is scheduled to take place in Indore on May 20. This meeting holds immense importance not only from an administrative perspective but also for its cultural and developmental significance for the city.
Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav stated that the district administration has initiated preparations for the cabinet meeting. Alongside the meeting, plans are being drafted for special events and visits to key city landmarks.
According to the Mayor, a request has been made to Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to arrive in Indore on the evening of May 19, accompanied by the entire cabinet, to participate in cultural programs planned as part of the 300th birth anniversary celebrations of Maa Ahilya.
It has also been requested that the Chief Minister and ministers visit Indore’s iconic Sarafa Bazaar during this time. The objective of this visit is to further strengthen the city’s cultural, culinary, and commercial identity on a national stage.
Following the cabinet meeting on May 20, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will lead an inspection of major ongoing development projects in Indore. These include flagship projects such as the Hukumchand Mill redevelopment, Indore Metro Project, and initiatives in cleanliness and digitization, which have contributed to making Indore the number one city in the country.
Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav announced that a meeting of all public representatives in Indore will be held under the leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party’s city president, Sumit Mishra. This meeting will focus on planning the welcome of the Chief Minister and ministers, organizing special events, and finalizing the proposed visit itinerary.
Mayor emphasized that this cabinet meeting will not only accelerate development projects but also elevate Indore’s cultural and historical identity to new heights.
