Yoga Guru Ramesh Patil is honored for his remarkable contribution to public wellness
Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Tulsi Nagar Yogshala celebrated its first anniversary with a focus on yoga’s role in national health. Yoga Guru Ramesh Patil, founder of Hariom Yogpeeth, was honored for his significant contribution to public wellness. He emphasized that a healthy India requires integrating yoga, a balanced diet, and a disciplined lifestyle into daily routines.
During the celebration, organized by the Tulsi Saraswati Social Welfare Society, Patil highlighted yoga and pranayama’s benefits for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, urging people to adopt a mindful, positive lifestyle. Yoga Guru Prem Kairo, who leads daily sessions at the Yogshala, was also recognized for his dedication.
Ward 37 Corporator representative Mahesh Joshi praised Patil’s efforts in promoting health and yoga in Mahalaxmi Nagar and Tulsi Nagar, encouraging the expansion of these initiatives. Dignitaries, including Congress corporator Raju Bhadauria and Rajput leader Pappu Thakur, emphasized the importance of wellness in modern life.
Rajesh Tomar, president of the Tulsi Saraswati Social Welfare Society, recounted the Yogshala’s founding at Maa Saraswati Dham under Patil’s inspiration. He noted its success under Prem Kairo’s guidance, attracting a large daily following.
Prominent among those present on the occasion was Convenor of Wards 36–37 Resident Federation K. K. Jha, Sarv Brahmin Yuva Sangathan (Mahalaxmi Nagar unit president) Amit Trivedi, Shambhunath Singh, Sanjay Yadav, Jinendra Sanwala, R.K. Jain, senior journalist Kirti Rana, Deepesh Gupta, Basanta Nayak, Rakesh Jaiswal, Dhule Singh, Bhagwan Jha, and Mahip Dhing, besides senior members of the Hariom Yog Peeth.
