Abhyas Mandal conducts Panchvati trees plantation drive

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): “Every plant becomes a tree, environmental protection is the responsibility of every person” With this resolution, on the eve of World Environment Day, under an inspiring initiative by Abhyas Mandal, mass plantation of Panchvati trees was done on Kanh Saraswati River Lokhande Bridge. Giving information about the program, Councilor of Ward 57 Suresh Takalkar, Swapnil Vyas of Abhyas Mandal told that the objective of the event is not limited to tree plantation only but to connect the participation of the common citizen of the city with responsibility towards nature. Abhyas Mandal takes ground and ideological action against the poison of trees, water, plastic and pollution dissolved in the city’s air not only on the occasion of Environment Day but from time to time throughout the year. Today, when the world is struggling with crises like climate crisis, pollution and biodiversity loss, such local initiatives raise new hopes. Abhyas Mandal showed that big changes can start not only from governments or institutions, but from every aware citizen. This event on the occasion of World Environment Day is a call for every citizen to accept that: “The earth is our mother, and its protection is our religion.” When every plant becomes a tree and every person walks with it, only then will the true Environment Day be meaningful.

In the program, apart from the Panchavati trees Banyan, Peepal, Amla, Ashoka, Bel, tree guards were also installed after planting the Neem tree. The program was conducted.
