To establish safe, crime-free tenancy system
Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The recent sensational Raja Raghuvanshi murder case has not only shaken the city but also raised serious questions about the practices of property dealers and landlords. Following revelations of the dubious role of a property dealer and landlord in renting a flat to criminals involved in the case, the Indore Rental Block Association (IRBA) has decided to take concrete steps to address this critical issue. To this end, a grand meeting of over 250 landlords and property brokers was organized, where significant decisions were made to prevent such incidents in the future.
IRBA President Shankar Kumawat emphasized during the meeting that renting properties to individuals with criminal tendencies or those involved in anti-social activities, such as “love jihad,” must be strictly avoided. He instructed all landlords and brokers to mandatorily complete tenant police verification, rental agreements, and other formalities. Additionally, he urged everyone to remain vigilant and monitor suspicious activities in their areas.
The event was coordinated by Amit Jain, Yatindra Modi, Bablu Kumawat, Rajendra Sharma, Anant Soni, and Kuldeep Sharma. All members present at the meeting unitedly resolved to make the city safer and establish a crime-free tenancy system.
