PRSU hosts educational awareness, plantation drives at Atari, Gomachi schools

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur organized an educational awareness and plantation program under the National Service Scheme (NSS) at Government Higher Secondary School, Atari and Government Pre-Secondary School, Gomachi . The objective of the program was to provide school students with information about higher education and career options, and to promote environmental consciousness.

At Atari School:
The program was presided over by Prof. L. S. Gajpal (Program Coordinator, NSS). On this occasion, the key guests included Prof. G. K. Deshmukh (Dean, Faculty of Management), Dr. Arvind Agrawal (Assistant Director, MMTTC), Dr. Govind Prasad Sahu (CBS), and Dr. Hemant Kumar Khatkar (Institute of Teacher Education).

Prof. Gajpal highlighted the role of the National Service Scheme and social responsibility, inspiring students to participate in nation-building.Dr. Arvind Agrawal provided career information in fields such as Law, Medicine, Agriculture, and Pharmacy.Prof. G. K. Deshmukh discussed innovative programs in Commerce, Management, and B.C.A.Dr. Govind Sahu shared details of the integrated M.Sc. programs and scholarships of ₹5,000 per month.Dr. Hemant Khatkar shed light on B.Ed. and integrated teacher education programs.

As part of the program, plantation drives were carried out at both Atari and Gomachi schools, in which school teachers, students, and university representatives actively participated. The Principal of Gomachi School, Mrs. Chauhan, expressed her gratitude to the university and called the initiative inspiring for the students.

Meaningful Participation and Conclusion:
During the program, students asked questions related to careers and scholarships, which were addressed by the experts. The Principal of Atari School, Shri Badgaiya, delivered the vote of thanks and appreciated the university’s initiative.This program, organized by Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, proved to be a positive effort in guiding students and strengthening social and environmental awareness.
