“Umeedon Ka Samvad” : Inspiring event of dialogue with school girls held

Abhyaas Mandal’s new initiative

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): Abhyaas Mandal organized a special dialogue program under the series “Umeedon Ka Samvad” in Sandipani Vidyalaya, Government Naveen Malav Kanya Uchchatar Madhyamik Vidyalaya, MOG Line, here. The topic of the program was “Current lifestyle and us”. The objective of the program was to have an open discussion on burning issues like the changing life of today’s girls, mental health, education, social pressure, and lack of communication. As the keynote speaker of Abhyaas Mandal, Dr. Malasingh Thakur said in his impressive and sensitive speech that today’s girls are not limited only to home and school, they are also the strong foundation of society and nation building. But in today’s fast-paced and virtual lifestyle, they face three major challenges of self-control, self-acceptance, and self-protection.” He said that we are connected to the whole world through mobile and social media, but are getting disconnected from ourselves; lack of communication, emotional loneliness, and mental pressure are deeply affecting today’s teenage girls. Motivating the girls, he said, “Learn to listen to your inner voice, self-confidence is the biggest asset. Not being afraid of failures, learning from them and moving ahead is real success. Maintain communication with your parents, teachers and friends. Communication is the first solution to every problem.”

He also said that education is not just a means of scoring marks, but a process of becoming a better human being. If girls understand themselves and are determined to fulfill their dreams, then no obstacle can stop them. The entire outline and conduct of the program was done by Vaishali Khare. The girls also participated with full dedication and expressed their curiosity through their questions. The Principal of the school, R.K. Kori, in his address, praised the Abhyaas Mandal and said that only a communicable society lays the foundation of a self-reliant and strong society. Such open discussions have become the need of the hour.
