Singers presented songs composed by AR Rahman, RD Burman
Indore (Team Newsbuddy): In the local Jal Sabhagriha, a bouquet of selected songs of composers AR Rahman and RD Burman was presented by the singers of Mhow Cultural Forum. Singer Kanika Kaur impressed the most with her well-tuned voice. Selected songs of the great singer Kishore Kumar also made his birthday meaningful.
The program coordinator Dinesh Solanki informed that this event was organized with the hit songs of composers RD Burman and AR Rahman as well as Asha Bhosle and Kishore Kumar. The music direction was by Vijay Rao, he was on the tabla while the musicians were Harshad Shegaonkar on the keyboard, Shailesh Swami on the octopad, Dholak Congo Ravi Khede and Vikas Jain on the guitar. The audience kept clapping again and again for the wonderful coordination of music in some songs.
The main focus of the event was Kanika Kaur, whose special songs Mujhe Rang De, Khatuba, Tere Khayalon Mein Hum and Mere Naina Sawan Bhado created a stir. The audience stood up and applauded many times.
The song Ek Chatur Naar from the film Padosan was enlivened by the comedy action duo of Dinesh Solanki and Kunal Yadav. Singer Sanjay Yadav’s Rafi songs and Burman Da’s music enthralled the audience, while Sanjay Sharma and Rachna Ved’s songs also impressed.
25 songs were presented in the programme. The programme was conducted efficiently by Mona Thakur. She also presented the story behind some songs in an interesting manner. In the beginning, Ranjan made the audience take the oath of patriotism by singing Jana Gana Mana collectively. The lamps were lit by Lakhim Chand, Tarun Gupta, journalist Prashant Rai Chaudhary, Prakash Gupta and Naresh of the organization Rishiraj. Vikas Sharma of the organization Rishiraj also distributed juice to the audience on behalf of Dabur.
