Indore: Amidst the ongoing grief over the murder of their younger son Raja Raghuwanshi, the Raghuwanshi family of Indore is now facing serious allegations. A woman has publicly claimed that she was married to Sachin Raghuwanshi—Raja’s elder brother—in a temple ceremony and that the couple also has a 1.5-year-old child.
On Tuesday afternoon, the woman arrived at Sachin’s residence with the child. When she created a scene outside the house, Sachin reportedly left the premises, saying that the woman was blackmailing him and that the matter was already sub judice in court.
The woman asserted that a DNA test has already confirmed Sachin to be the biological father of the child. However, she said that legal proceedings are still ongoing. She expressed her anguish, stating, “All I want is for Sachin to accept me and our child and acknowledge us as part of his family.”
Recounting the confrontation, she said, “When I arrived at his house, his mother locked the door from inside, and Sachin fled in his car. I even tried to stop him at the gate, but he didn’t pay any heed.” The woman further alleged that she has been continuously insulted and humiliated throughout the legal battle.
She accused Sachin and his family of deliberately isolating her and the child from society. “If Sachin had acknowledged our marriage and fulfilled his responsibilities with dignity, this situation would never have arisen,” she added.
The woman also claimed to possess strong evidence, including video footage and ritual documentation of their wedding, which she says has been submitted in court. She remains hopeful that the judiciary will grant her justice and hold Sachin Raghuwanshi accountable.
This controversy comes just months after the shocking murder of Raja Raghuwanshi in Meghalaya. Raja, a transport businessman from Indore, was murdered in June during what was supposed to be a honeymoon trip.
Raja had married Sonam Raghuwanshi on May 11. The couple left for their honeymoon on May 20 but went missing by May 23. His body was recovered on June 2 from a gorge in Shillong. Investigations revealed that he was killed using a sharp weapon. His wife, Sonam, is currently in judicial custody at Shillong Jail as the prime accused in the case.
