Teachers are teaching from private publisher’s books in government schools, no guarantee of syllabus
Raipur (Team Newsbuddy). Raising questions on the non-availability of syllabus in government schools even after the implementation of the new education policy, senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that the new education policy has been implemented. NCERT syllabus has to be taught in government schools, but the education department has not delivered the NCERT syllabus to government schools. Teachers and students of 11th and 12th are waiting for the new syllabus, due to not getting the new syllabus, teachers are teaching children from the books of private publishers, the books of private publishers are under the new syllabus policy, there is no authenticity of it. In such a situation, the government’s claim of trying to improve the quality of education is just hot air.
Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that when the new education policy has been implemented and the NCERT syllabus has to be studied, then according to the syllabus of SCERT, the books of 11th and 12th had to be printed. The books were to be distributed in government schools, which has not happened yet. The education department is pressurizing teachers to take monthly exams under the new education policy. Whereas the new education policy has not reached them yet. Children have not studied in that direction, then how will the monthly exam be conducted. How will the quality of studies improve with this, how will teachers teach students without a syllabus.
Senior spokesperson of the state Congress Dhananjay Singh Thakur said that due to the equipment, there is a shortage of subject specialist teachers in schools anyway, if there is pressure to implement the new education policy and the education policy is not delivered to government schools, then will the children study? The government is just talking in vain and by ruining the education system, you are pushing the future of children into darkness.
