PIMR student shines, wins ‘College ke Tashanbaaz’ tourney

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Talent, confidence, and passion came together on stage when Saavi Padhya, a student of the Film and Digital Communication Department at Prestige Institute of Management and Research (UG Campus), bagged the first prize at the much-acclaimed ‘College ke Tashanbaaz’ competition, organized by Red FM.
At the glittering grand finale held at Ravindra Natya Griha Auditorium, Saavi mesmerized the audience and judges alike with her captivating Kathak performance. Her presentation, marked by graceful expressions, flawless footwork, elegant spins, and perfect postures, left the hall echoing with thunderous applause.
For her outstanding performance, Saavi was awarded the winner’s trophy, a certificate, and a cash prize of ₹11,000. All other participants were also presented with certificates of appreciation. The finale witnessed the participation of 28 talented contestants, showcasing their skills in front of a packed audience. The competition featured two major trophies—one for the most-voted participant and the other for the overall winner. The jury panel included renowned art critic Mr. Vipin Sharma, who evaluated every performance with keen observation.
Having already been organized across more than 15 colleges, ‘College ke Tashanbaaz’ has emerged as a significant platform for inter-college talent, providing young performers with recognition and encouragement. The event concluded with mementoes being presented to the judges as a token of appreciation. Prestige Education Foundation, Chairman, Dr Davish Jain, and PIMR (UG) Director Col S Raman Iyer have congratulated Saavi for bringing laurels to her institution.
