2 min readRaipur(TEAM NEWS BUDDY).On Thursday, in the Chhattisgarh Assembly, Education Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal presented his reply on the attention seeking motion regarding the deteriorating systems, irregularities and corruption in Swami Atmanand schools.
While talking to journalists, Brijmohan Aggarwal said that Swami Atmanand is a revered personality in the entire country. We all have respect for him in our hearts. And instead of building the future of the children, the schools opened in their name are playing with their future. These schools were separated from the education department and placed under the control of the collector. There is a lot of chaos there, in view of which the government has decided to abolish the committees formed for Swami Atmanand schools under the chairmanship of the Collector.
From now on, Swami Atmanand School will be run by the School Education Department. Along with this, these schools were earlier known by the names of great personalities. His name will once again be added before Swami Atmanand.
Aggarwal also said that if any complaint of irregularity is received regarding Atmanand Schools, it will be investigated.
It also said that there is a possibility of a scam of about Rs 800 crore in the reconstruction and other items of Atmanand School in the state. Wherever a complaint is received, it will be investigated. In the RD Tiwari School of the capital Raipur alone, about Rs 4.5 crore was spent to repair the building. In which a new building could be constructed. Not only this, the false ceiling had collapsed after repairs in RD Tiwari School, causing panic among the students and teachers.
